Learning to drive does not end when the Beginner Driver Education course does. Every driver has different strengths, goals and areas where a little more focused coaching can make a big difference.
Drivewise Advanced Driver Training Lessons offer private, one-on-one instruction designed around specific skills. Some drivers use these sessions to prepare for their next road test. Others want to build stronger, more confident driving habits in areas like highway driving, city driving, or parking.
Drivewise Advanced Driver Training Lessons are open to everyone, including Drivewise graduates and drivers simply looking for focused professional coaching.
Each package includes three hours of focused, private coaching covering a different set of skills. Drivers can choose a single program that matches their biggest priority, or combine more than one for a well-rounded approach.

These lessons are designed for drivers looking for focused professional coaching. They can be valuable for Drivewise graduates as well as drivers who completed training elsewhere.
All manoeuvres are included at no extra cost in every Drivewise program. Students also receive in-class emergency driving training, including how to handle tire blowouts and a stuck accelerator. Going beyond basic driver education isn’t occasional – it’s the standard in Drivewise’s SAFE START program.
A : Each core Advanced Driver Training package is $299 + HST and includes three hours of private, one-on-one coaching delivered in two 90-minute sessions.
A: No. Advanced Driver Training Lessons can be booked by drivers who did not complete their original training with Drivewise.
A: No. Advanced Driver Training Lessons are open to any driver looking for focused, one-on-one coaching, whether they trained with Drivewise, completed a course elsewhere, or are seeking coaching independent of a formal beginner program.
A: Drivers must have a G1 license in order to take driving lessons of any sort.
A: No. Road Test Ready is a preparation and coaching program. Road-test vehicle packages are separate and are coordinated directly with an instructor, subject to eligibility and availability.
A: Choose the package that best matches the skill you want to strengthen. Drivewise graduates may also use feedback from their instructor, report cards or Skills Passport to help identify an area that would benefit from additional coaching.
A: Yes. Drivers may choose more than one package if they would like focused coaching in several areas.
A: Complete the booking form < Link to Form. Our office will then provide you with a direct link to your instructor’s calendar. Two week’s notice is required for all lesson bookings.
A: All sessions take place in the town or city that you book with (Woodstock, Brantford, Paris, Simcoe). For example, all of those who register with Simcoe will be trained in the town of Simcoe. We offer pick up and drop off within city or town limits. If you are from outside of those limits, you can meet us anywhere in town that is convenient for you.
A: All driving lessons must be conducted in our vehicles, which are equipped with a dual brake and are insured with the MTO required 6D driving instructor endorsement.
A: The MTO allows a maximum of two hours of in-car instruction per day, so we must keep the two lessons on separate days.
A: Lessons are available Monday through Saturday, based on instructor availability. Weekday hours run 8:00am – 6:00pm. Saturday hours run 9:00am to 1:00pm. After booking, students receive a link to a live calendar where they can see open time slots and schedule their sessions directly.
A: 24 hours notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. If less than 24 hours notice is given, a $45.00 cancellation fee will apply.
A: Because these sessions are not part of the BDE program, there is no time limit and Drivewise will honour their redemption at any time.
A: We do not require payment until the morning of the lesson. You are welcome to select the Pay Later option when booking, if you wish. If you choose to pay later, an invoice will be sent to you one day prior to your booking.
